Modest upgrade from Safari LT and a missed opportunity.
The addition of a LiFePO4 battery translates into significantly longer service life and 47.8% longer run times over that of the Safari LT. The modest upgrade was in the form of a 530W vs 500W inverter(6% improvement). The missed opportunity is apparent in the following three components. The 12v outlet is still unregulated. The two USB C ports could have been rated 100W instead of the current 60W. The inverter at minimum should be rated at 700W with a surge allowance. The last criticism that I have is that the display should be programmed at the factory by default to stay on permanently until the unit is turned off. The reason that I gave the Summit a rating of four stars is because provided that one respects the limits of the inverter and USB C ports, I have found the Summit to be a solid and reliable performer. Also, I like dealing with customer service/technical support that is based in the USA.

Just what I needed
I previously owned one of Lion's products called the Safari LT. It's a pretty good little portable power unit and was pretty light-weight and easy to carry around but I found I needed a bit more power for some of the devices I was powering and I wanted it to last longer between charges. Lion came out with a new unit that I did some research on called the Summit. It has more output (530W v 500W of the LT model) and last quite a bit longer (668Wh vs 450Wh). I gave my LT to one of the kids, they love it, and bought the new Summit. It works great and just what I needed. I'm happy and the kids are happy. Win-win deal.
