Just watched a great episode of the Untold podcast with Tyler Hortin, CEO of Lion Energy, a conversation about what it actually takes to lead through loss, uncertainty, and growth.

Tyler's path is anything but typical. He moved from a finance background into the top seat at an energy company, and stepped into the CEO role during one of the hardest stretches imaginable: the death of his mentor and a wave of tariffs hitting the business at the same time. Instead of flinching, he kept the company moving forward.
A few things that stuck with me:
Leadership is built on trust and relationships long before it's tested by a crisis.
Hard decisions rarely come with perfect information, you make the best call you can and trust yourself in the moment.
Resilience isn't avoiding the storm; it's knowing that "no matter how difficult it is, it will pass."
A company vision worth following serves everyone, employees, customers, partners, and stakeholders alike.
Whether you're an entrepreneur, an executive, or just working on your own growth, this one's worth 33 minutes of your time.
