Refund Policy

This return policy applies only to direct-to-consumer (DTC) purchases made through the Lion Energy website (lionenergy.com). It does not apply to Home Energy products, Commercial & Industrial (C&I) products, or any order placed through a Purchase Order (PO) or Master Services Agreement (MSA). Return terms for those products and orders are contract-based and are defined in the applicable PO or MSA, not by this website policy (see "Exclusions" below).

Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days from your purchase date for eligible DTC website purchases. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we can't offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging or in packaging sent to you through Lion Energy's Customer Service department.

To complete your return, we need a receipt or proof of purchase. You must have bought your item directly from Lion Energy through our website in order to receive a refund. If you bought it through another vendor or dealer, you must contact that vendor or dealer directly for a refund.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted (if applicable):

  • Any item not in its original condition,
  • is damaged,
  • is missing parts (for reasons that are not the fault of Lion Energy),
  • is returned more than 30 days after the purchase date.

Exclusions

The following products and order types are excluded from this online return policy:

  • Home Energy products — Returns are not handled under this website policy. Return terms are contract-based and defined in the applicable Purchase Order (PO) or Master Services Agreement (MSA).
  • Commercial & Industrial (C&I) products — Returns are not handled under this website policy. Return terms are contract-based and defined in the applicable PO or MSA.
  • PO-Based Orders — Any products purchased through a Purchase Order (PO) must go through the assigned sales representative for evaluation and potential RMA approval. They are not eligible for the standard 30-day online return process.
  • MSA-Based Orders — Any products purchased under a Master Services Agreement (MSA) are governed strictly by the return terms outlined within that agreement.

If you are unsure whether your purchase falls under this online policy or under a PO/MSA, please contact your assigned Lion Energy sales representative.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected (and approved), your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a reasonable number of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven't received a refund, first check your bank account. Then, contact your credit card company or financial institution, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@lionenergy.com.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item, send us an email at info@lionenergy.com and include a receipt or proof of purchase, a serial number, and any pictures of damage (if applicable). You can also call our Customer Service line at 385-375-8191 or use the chat function on the Lion Energy website.

Once your original unit is delivered back to Lion Energy and received into our computer system, the replacement unit will be cleared to be sent out from our warehouse. The time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you will vary depending on where you live.

Shipping

To return your product, you should contact us at info@lionenergy.com, call 385-375-8191, or use the chat function on our website and request a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) through our Customer Service department.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless otherwise specified by a Lion Energy Customer Service representative. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $75.00 in value, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or buying shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
