California Proposition 65 Warning

At Lion Energy, your safety and trust matter to us. California’s Proposition 65—officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986—is a “Right to Know” law. It requires businesses to inform Californians if products may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

The law defines risk as “more than 1 extra case of cancer in 100,000 people over a 70-year lifetime.” While the actual exposure from our products may be extremely low—or even nonexistent—we believe you have the right to make informed decisions.

Why the Warning Appears

Some Lion Energy products may contain trace amounts of substances on California’s Proposition 65 list. Out of caution and transparency, we provide this warning on all applicable products even if the levels are well below the state’s concern threshold.
