Welcome to the Lion’s Den: Step Inside Lion Energy HQ
Nestled in the heart of Utah, Lion Energy's headquarters is not your typical energy company workspace. It's a technological playground where batteries are not just manufactured, but meticulously tested, repaired, and reimagined.
The Showroom: Beyond Ordinary Energy Storage
Key Product Highlights:
- Portable power banks
- Solar generators
- RV and marine battery solutions
- Sanctuary hybrid inverter system (14.3 KW hour, stackable)
"We're not just another solar company," says Brady Hogan, Chief Revenue Officer. "We specialize in energy storage across a full spectrum of applications."

Challenging Industry Norms
Most battery companies follow a frustratingly predictable pattern that leaves customers feeling helpless. They manufacture products in distant factories in China, ship these components globally with little regard for local support infrastructure, offer minimal post-sale assistance, and typically discard faulty products without a second thought. This approach not only creates significant electronic waste but also leaves customers bearing the financial burden of replacement when something goes wrong.
Lion Energy's Unique Approach:
- Full in-house repair capabilities
- Comprehensive warranty support
- Ability to repair:
- Battery Management Systems
- Inverters
- Battery cells
- Recertification of repaired products
"Most all of lithium products are manufactured in China," Brady explains. "They come over here and then they don't have a way of actually servicing or doing repairs on the product if there's problems. We're pretty unique. We can actually bring all of the product back in here, service it, warranty it, and complete any repairs that are needed."

The Future: American-Made Innovation
"Many have heard about American Battery Company," Brady explains. "It's a sister company of ours. We've secured a couple hundred acres in Tucson that we'll be developing to actually manufacture battery cells just over a year from now."
The partnership between Lion Energy and American Battery Company represents a significant leap forward in domestic battery production. "Lion Energy will be taking those cells and doing the final pack assembly," Brady continues. "We'll have equipment here doing laser welding of battery cells into what we call a battery rack module, which will go into our larger commercial equipment."
Upcoming Developments:
- Secured hundreds of acres in Tucson
- US-based battery cell manufacturing
- Laser welding equipment for battery rack modules
- Commitment to domestic production
A Commitment to National Security
In an era of increasing technological concerns, Lion Energy takes a proactive stance on data security and national infrastructure protection.
"The FBI continues to claim concerns over international interference with critical infrastructure," Brady explains. "We've taken a deliberate approach of controlling how data flows and communicates with our equipment."
Key Security Measures:
- Custom-designed communication boards
- Software engineered entirely in the USA
- Firmware management of critical components
- Minimized risk of external infiltration
Lion Energy's Commitment:
- Developing software with national security in mind
- Creating custom components in-house
- Controlling data communication channels
- Reducing potential foreign influence
"You can trust that Lion Energy's software and products are developed with measures to minimize foreign influence and exposure," the company states.

Putting The Batteries To The Test
Imagine a facility that pushes batteries to their absolute limits. Lion Energy's thermal testing chambers are essentially a battery boot camp, simulating extreme environmental conditions.
"Think of it like a sauna and cold plunge taken to an extreme level with batteries," Brady jokes. The batteries go through so many different kinds of testing such as:
- Rapid temperature cycling
- Simulating real-world extreme conditions
- Ensuring performance in challenging environments
"We want to know how the equipment performs in every possible circumstance," Brady emphasizes. "One moment it's 70 degrees, the next it's snowing - and our batteries are engineered to handle it all."

The Sanctuary Training Center: Supporting Installers
Key Support Features:
- Comprehensive installer training
- Real-time technical support
- On-site engineering team
- Reducing installation complexity
"We want to make sure installers have confidence when they go to a job site," Brady explains. "We have a support team that answers phones during business hours, with engineers nearby to solve complex issues."
Lion Energy isn't just selling batteries; they're providing a holistic energy solution. Their approach combines:
- Cutting-edge technology
- Comprehensive repair services
- Rigorous quality control
- Customer-focused support
"The whole point is really trying to provide a premier support experience," Brady emphasizes.
Beyond the Product: A Philosophy of Power
Their tagline says it all: "Your life, your power, your way."
This isn't just a slogan. It's a commitment to:
- Sustainable energy solutions
- Reducing electronic waste
- Empowering customers with flexible energy options
Lion Energy's headquarters represents more than a workplace. It's a vision of energy storage's future - innovative, adaptable, and relentlessly focused on customer needs.
