What to know before the next outage
How does Sanctuary 3 back up my home?
It continuously senses your grid connection. The instant an outage is detected, it switches your home onto stored battery power automatically, usually fast enough that you never notice the grid went down.
How long can it power my house?
It depends on your loads and how much capacity you install. The system scales from a 14.3 kWh base up to 171.6 kWh, so it can be sized from essential-loads backup to multi-day whole-home coverage. Add solar and it recharges by day.
Is it safe indoors and around my family?
Yes. Sanctuary 3 uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4), the safest mainstream lithium chemistry, and is certified to UL 9540, UL 1973 and UL 9540A. It's silent, produces no fumes, and needs no fuel on site.
How is Sanctuary 3 installed?
By a Lion-Certified installer, typically in a day or two, depending on your home and local permitting. It mounts indoors or outdoors (NEMA 3R / IP65) and ties into your electrical panel, working on-grid, off-grid, with solar, or with a generator.
Can I add solar or expand capacity later?
Yes. The 12 kW hybrid inverter supports up to 18 kW of solar and is on/off-grid, solar, and generator ready. You can add battery modules over time as your needs grow.
What maintenance does it need?
Effectively none. Units are 100% factory-tested, sealed, and rated for indoor/outdoor use (NEMA 3R / IP65). There's no fuel, no oil, and no routine servicing like a gas generator.
