No RF noise
Great! We listened on two sensitive receivers with antennas next to the Safari and didn't detect any RF noise on 80-10 meters, so we will have power in our communications van alongside our radios! We like the rugged construction and high power output. We Evan ran a space heater! We detected an audio tone coming through the 12.8VDC output into our Elecraft KX3 audio, but it was well below what we were listening to; apparently that tone is generated by the DC-DC inverter that converts the internal battery voltage to the 12.8VDC level.

Safari- Power Generator
OUTSTANDING!!! product. This is a game-changer. I will sleep better knowing that I have backup power in an emergency. It has been tested with a 65" TV, lights, and a regular-size refrigerator, giving about 6 -8 hours with all plugged into the Safari.

Works Perfectly out of the Box
Have used it for 3-4 nights in 96 degree weather, camping outside. Covered it and the portable refrigirator with a reflective tarp - well worth it. Had no issues, two solar panels were enough to recharge the power station + power my 240 watt portable speaker as well. Very pleased with this purchased. The one negative reviewer didn't properly research how much draw his 'small appliance' took and didn't have enough solar panels to recharge it - not the fault of the product as ANY power station with similar rating would have been the same. Do your research first, don't be like them :) copilot helps with doing the conversions, for example: "how long will my power station run a 325 appliance while charging with 2x solar panels", for example.

Think twice before buying
I took the safari battery camping. We had no hook ups. I did not have a gas generator. My trailer refrigerator was not working on the LP gas (propane). So l plugged in the Safari battery to run the refrigerator. On first charge it lasted a little more than 2 hrs. I then recharged off of some friends gas generator which took about 2hrs. Plugged it back in to the trailer, something it lasted about 2hrs. I had to do this multiple times over the course of 3 days. It works OK, but only for small appliances. I don't recommend it for anything but short term emergencies. I also had purchased 1 solar panel to plug in and charge the battery, but it was only charging at 25% of what power was being drawn from the battery. My refrigerator was pulling about 325 watts and the solar panels was putting back in about 90watts and only in direct sunlight. I still think the battery is a good Idea, but not to be depended on for powering a travel trailer. A good old gas generator is still what I recommend for that.
